Two multiplier events were organized in Slovakia during the project in order to ensure the success and sustainability of the MAMIDI project.

1st multiplier event in Slovakia

Held on 17 May 2018, in Herľany (Slovakia) Number of participants: 71. The group of participants was a perfect combination of the direct & indirect target groups of the project. There were the representatives of the regional & local municipalities – regional development office, regional culture, and staff of budgetary and contributory organizations that are created by Municipalities mostly from the Kosice region, migration officers from the Slovak Ministry of interior, NGOs which focus their activities on the similar topics and have the wide experience from the relevant field, academics and students working in the fields concerned.

  • Migration, Diversity & Vulnerability
  • Managing Migration and Diversity through LG Capacity Building
  • Round Table Discussion on Migration and Diversity in Kosice Region

All participants agreed that Mamidi project is a very good example of taking care not only of migrants (one side of the story) but also of the other side – representatives of the major society or community, PA & its bodies which are also vulnerable as well as the migrants & refugees.



2nd multiplier event in Slovakia

Held on 21 November 2018, in Nitra (Slovakia) at the premises of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, Faculty of European Studies and Regional Development, Address: Tr. A. Hlinku 2, 949 76, Nitra.
The event belongs to the group of multiplier events which have been organized in order to ensure the success and sustainability of the MAMIDI project. This activity was devoted to future administrative capacities that are intended to work with migration and diversity issues in public administration at local level. The main aim of the event was to spread the information about the project and its outputs in particular the course to our target groups: future administrative capacities studying in the field of public administration and regional development.
